My confidant, my mentor, and my biggest champion may he rest in peace, singing with angels in heaven and rejoicing with The Lord.
I will always love and miss you, and can't wait to see you again. Send my love to grandma Betty, grandma Kitty, grandpa John and the rest of the gang.

My uncle was the kindest man you would ever wish to know. I will always remember his infectious smiles, his open door policy, his non judgmental soul, his ability to make the most delightful creations from any food from around the entire globe, his selflessness, his never ending desire to see his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews succeed at all they could and would do. His support was instrumental in my life and many other's I'm certain.
My memories of my UNCLE WALTER are forever etched into my heart, his love for his families to never be forgotten, his kindness forevermore shared, his strength to carry on in all of us.
I will miss you Walt.
Your favorite nephew Chad.

 Walt,
I love u brother, the world is a bit dimmer without big Walt. He was quick to remind us that even tho we were not blessed with good looks, he still loved us! :)
I wish I could be with you brother, but me and Addison are sending our love and support. There is so much I could say about the love and respect I will always have for him, but I'll jus say again that this world has just lost one of the good ones, one of the bright ones, one that was caring and understanding.
The world is truly dimmer without him.

To a true friend,

To say you actually have a true friend is very rare. I met Walt 10 years ago when I lost my father in Florida.
Walt was one of the first persons I met and helped me get through such a hard time. He was a simple man who did not ask for much in life.
He has seen more of the world and had experiences in his life that he thought was just normal.
He was a great chef, good listener and always made me laugh. Family and friends here in Michigan will all miss him very much.
God Bless Walt’s family. What a precious gift he was to all of us.
Til we meet again my friend.
Tammy

Its been ONE YEAR already. I have learned that Time continues on no matter what happens here.
We can be caught up in the sorrow of loosing a loved one or we can move on quickly to lessen the pain.
I have learned that no matter what our loved one does, we remember the day and the time and the event on when we saw them last.
This feeling stays for years and years.
Know that Walter's loved ones are remembering this event and hopefully the pain has lessened.
The beauty of it is he is watching over them and knows what is going on in their daily life.
Keep including him in your thoughts.

Anniversary flowers for Walter.
