Tanesha Harkless

January 10, 1077~ March 24, 2018

Tanesha M. Harkless (Boomer), 41, entered into eternal peace with her mother, on Saturday, March 24, 2018. She was born in Erie, Pa., on January 10, 1977, to the late John Pacley Jr. "JP" and Dorothy J. Harkless- Gilkey "Dee."

She attended Henderson United Methodist Church and House of Prayer for many years. She recently became a member of Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church.

Tanesha enjoyed music, dancing, and social media. She also enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her children. Family was always important to her. She was also a die-hard Steelers and Cavaliers fan.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Duane and Lillian Harkless; and her paternal grandparents, John and Velma Napier Pacley, Sr.; and her stepfather, Burnis Gilkey.

Tanesha is survived by her daughter, Shaquila Harkless (Shawna); three sons Shieed Stepp, Jaylin and Sincere Harkless; her significant other, James Stepp; a stepbrother, Fateen Gilkey of Syracuse, N.Y.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Friends visited with the family from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at The Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2624 German Street, where there was a celebration of life at 12 p.m., with Bishop Jesse N. Gavin officiating. Laid to rest in Wintergreen Gorge
