November 18, 1926 - March 25, 1979

| Bob has left you a legacy of good will. You've had the privilege of sharing some of your life with a great guy, and he with you. Those of you who have known Bob best, have come to appreciate his ways, his thinking, and his values. He has been a friend to you and to others in every sense of the word. You have laughed together, cried together, worked together and gotten angry together, as all of us do; but you have also enjoyed the times of quiet reflection and the sense of accomplishment together. Companionship has been a big part of Bob's life. He has wanted that of you and you have been companions to him. In the weeks and months ahead, you will be glad for the blessings you have shared, and I think you will look back on your time together with a growing sense of gratitude. Bob Case was baptized and confirmed at Peace Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, Ohio on May 23, 1971. According to the custom of assigning a bible verse to each one confirmed, the one chosen for him was this, from the Book of Acts 16:30-31: "Men, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." Bob has had that belief and that hope from God. That is perhaps the greatest thing that anyone of us can have, for it is the hope that goes on after this life is over, however short or long our time happens to be. May God help each of you through these difficult days. Pastor Bill Luoma 3/29/79 |
