Pearl Irene Fuller

December 12, 1930 - Feb. 29, 2012

Pearl Irene Brown Fuller, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler, Pa. after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

She was born in Westfield, N.Y. on December 12, 1930, daughter of the late Clyde Brown and Geneva Ranny Brown Cranston; and stepdaughter of the late Louis Cranston and Bernice Brown. Pearl had worked for Marx Toys, Penn Union and Keystone Foods. She retired early from Keystone Foods in 1985 and moved to Arthur City, Texas in 1989 with her late husband to enjoy the warmer weather.

In her spare time, Pearl loved to crochet, sew, read, and solve puzzle books. Mostly she loved to relax at the Choctaw Casino. She always knew how to make somebody smile or laugh, and always had a way to open her heart, ears and hands to those who were in need. Pearl enjoyed talking to people and had made many friends along the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Fuller (November 2010); a son, Robert Fuller (May 2000); a daughter, Roberta Fuller (August 1955); and a brother, Clyde "Brownie" Brown (November 1990).

Pearl is survived by two daughters, Renee Tanner (Dwight) of Butler, Pa. and Ruth Hunt (John) of Wattsburg, Pa.; three sons, Ronald Fuller (Diane) and Raymond Fuller (Diane), all of Mountain Home, Ark. and Rodney Fuller (Julie) of Erie; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Joanne Puzarowski and Helen Snyder (Daniel) all of Erie, Nancy Castano of Loris, S.C., and Deloris Lindemuth (Vern) of Waterford; two brothers, John Brown (Joyce) of Tyler, Texas and Charlie Brown (Pat) of Jamestown, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews; and a very dear and close friend, Bonnie Johnson of Arthur City, Texas.
