To read this in the paper made my heart hurt. We were close as teenagers, shared everything, learned life and then went our separate ways.
This website is my gift to his family and to his memory. Please feel free to send your memories to be posted here.
I will never forget his beautiful voice when he sang Baby I love you, by Andy Kim.

To all the Swasing Family:
I am so sorry to hear of Kurt's passing. You all must be devastated and sad.
To hear that he had an illness for some time also is upsetting, but knowing that he lived with one of you
and hoping all of you helped, shows the kind of family you are.

With deepest sympathy.

Connie Swasing-Morgan and family:
Sorry to hear about Kurt. I was unaware that he was ill.
My husband passed away at the age of 53 of cancer also. It is devastating at such a young age.
I remember the old days when Kurt, you and I, as young children would get up with Kurt and deliver papers on our bikes at 4 a.m.
We had a blast. Oh yes, and our favorite spot... Melody Dairy Bar! Hope those memories help you through this tough time.
We will have to get together and talk about old times.
It's good for the heart and the spirit.
May God be with you and your family through this challenging time.
May Kurt rest in peace with all the other angels! (my husband being one of them!)
Keep in touch. Let's get together!

Love,
Debra (Pohl) Peterson

Sheryl & Family,

I am sorry to hear of Kurt's battle. He is in heaven now, no more pain or sickness.
My heart aches for you and your family for the loss of such a good guy like Kurt.
I know my brother Dave Pepperman was heartbroken. They have been friends since we were pre teens.
And have celebrated the super bowl games together for decades.
My sympathy for your loss and prayers to heal the aching hearts. Remember how he LIVED,
during this time of grief, I know Kurt would appreciate the smiles and laughter of funny memories from family and friends.
Big hugs to you and your family.
