Prayer for all the Faithful Departed
O God,
 The Creator and Redeemer
Of All the Faithful,
Grant to the Souls
Of Thy Servants departed
The remission of all their sins;
That through pious supplications
They may obtain the pardon
Which they have always desired
Who livest and reignest
World without end. Amen

Untill God opens the nexy door...

Memories

May 14, 2014

They always say that the FIRST year is the hardest. That is true, but time does not lessen the pain, we just get used to the feeling and then we pray that one day we will be together again. Be with James' family today on this particular day. Give them the assurance that he is watching out for them and will see them again.

I miss you so much it is a physical pain. I can take comfort in the fact that I know you are with our father in heaven and one day you will be at the gates of heaven waiting on us to take us into heaven with you and our father.

DEAR UNCLE JIMMY,
As painful as this is.... I know...
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
RIP UNCLE JIMMY, I... love... you... more than it make sense to keep sayin
And RIP to everybody that God won from that cancer battle!!!

I only saw James a couple of times. He is the paternal grandfather of my grandson Lazarus James Lee Lockett.
I was glad that Lazarus got to know his grandfather and will help him remember him always.
My heart goes out to his family.
