New Year's Day  Lei Ann cooked Chicken at her house and I made the rest of the meal. We ate in my dining room on Nancy's table.
Miss you  today as much as any day. Love you Mom and Dad.

~~~~~B&AMF~~~~~
Well Dad, I guess the shop is closed. Albe tried to make a go of it but couldn't do it alone. I don't know what this year holds for us, but I have faith.
1/5/13 Lei Ann changed her facebook profile. She looks so beautiful in this blue shirt.
I went to visit Olive today and stopped at the cemetery. Removed the bear decoration and saw that the wind chime needs replacing. I will do that this spring.
Daddy's bank is really broken up so I removed the six dollars in dimes and will look for another bank take its place.   Love you mom and dad
February 14, 2013   Happy Valentine's Day
Its rough dad, but I am going to make it. I am proud of my daughters Mom, they are helping me and things will be ok.
I went to church  today.  I took away the message that I should protect my brood.  Dad, I know it bother's you that they park so far into the driveway that they are almost on the sidewalk. I know that Mom doesn't like me not interfering in my children's lives, but Mom please understand, they are no longer children. They have to make choices for themselves, regardless of what WE think. So my lesson today is look after my grandchildren. And I will.
Nine years ago I received a phone call from the Beverly Health Care, we need to come NOW. My mom and I went to see my dad, we sat with him all night. In the morning I left to  take my children to school. I got to 26th and Peach and my mom called me on my cellphone and said "He's Gone"  I said I know Mom. he's right here with me."
Nine years later, he is still here with me. I feel his presence every day. I miss you Daddy.
Tomorrow is your 93rd birthday.
We will have cake and celebrate your day, and then go to the cemetery and bring some flowers.
RAIN
Took Mary to work and kids to school. I had a dr appt and afterwards I called Aunt Olive.
I stopped at Arby's and got us a Rubin sandwich for lunch and went to her house.
She showed me a spring wreath she made and I asked if we could put it on your grave.  So her and I went and she took this picture.
Happy Birthday Daddy.
No matter how well you take care of things, they wear out.  The pipes in my house are sixty one years old. Well they are rusty and some have holes.
Today a friend of mine came and repaired the sink and the pipes over the washer and dryer. Its a partial fix, but the only thing I can afford right now.
Happy Anniversary Dad and Mom.
Sixty-seven years ago you said I DO.  For 58 years you were inseparable, spending your life together. Then in 2004 dad, you left this Earth, left mom and I here. For five years we celebrated your anniversary and I know she missed you dearly.  In 2010 she joined you in heaven and your reunion and anniversary had to be the most wonderful of event.
Today is the second year you have been together again.  I love and miss you, one day we will be together and can celebrate but for now, my family will remember these dates in our daily lives.
Hey mom, your Geocaching buddies posted about you today.  Olie forwarded them to me. I posted them here.
Grammyannie cached from 2007 until her death (due to an accident) March 19, 2010.
She is laid to rest alongside her husband William Fuller at Dunn Valley Cemetery
The cords are N 42.00.556 W 080.06.840.
She had a delightful sense of humor. If you have been stuck in the north-land and find your Winter caching a bit slow, you may be interested in visiting her gallery of caching pictures. You will recognize some of the caches, and I think you will get a chuckle from her photo captions.
NWPAGC Gone But Not Forgotten: grammyannie
I didn't have the honor to know grammyannie but I'm sure she was great. I need to point something out to you. The next clear night go outside and look up. Beside everyone of those stars is a cache. Every cache in heaven comes with really good hints and they can be easy, hard, big or small what ever you are in the mood for. You state that she cached from 2007 until her death? If you think about it she probably has more finds than everyone put together here. BobP.S. I bet they have some really good G.P.S. units up there
Grammyannie rocked! She had a heart of gold, but wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She enjoyed the tough caches too. Wasn't afraid to do the hikers, and I'll never forget seeing her trying to climb a snow bank to get a cache. (We stopped and helped her out). Even got a hug from her at one of the events. She was such a great spokesperson for geocaching. Gone, but never forgotten...
Just had to add a little something in memory of Grammy Annie. She was a real pistol and sure had a sharp wit about her. I'll always remember our encounters while out geocaching. It was very cool when I found out that we already knew her daughter, Maggie.
I still remember reading the log she wrote when she finally got her very first FTF. The other thing I'll remember was when Mom and I grabbed a TB belonging to Grammy Olie on the way south on a trip and took it all the way to Florida. Both sisters visited us later and gave us a geocaching gift for getting the TB to it's goal.
The geocaching world was blessed with her presence. I'm sure many of us miss her.
There is snow on the ground. It's a typical St. Patrick's Day.  I miss you mom. The memory and pain is the same three years later.
The weather as usual in Erie is so unpredictable. It is snowing and blowing and COLD. I had planned to go to the cemetery. I have a new wind chime to replace the  broken one. But I am not venturing out there to only get stuck or in an accident on the unkept roads. I have plans to see Olive this week. She is baking cookies for the church. They have a big doings on Sunday afternoon. I go church too Mom, not the same one, but I like the little group of people I share my Sunday morning with.
I am doing a little web design from the house. Nothing like a business, but I keep busy and it will help with  the bills. Lei Ann lost a friend of hers yesterday, he is only 26. The children were here with us while she paid her respects.
   I miss you mom and dad.
So sorry mom, couldn't make it to the cemetery. So glad I made this website so I can post my feelings about a particular day or subject. I miss you so much. Today is the third anniversary of the day I laid you next to daddy in the ground. Save a place for me.
Finally made it to the cemetery. I went to Aunt Olive's and she went to the cemetery with me. She brought you some daffodils to brighten up a snowy gloomy day.
Added a new wind chime and took this picture after brushing off the snow.
We had to park on the road because nothing was plowed again. I wonder who is maintaining the cemetery now.
Love you Mom and Dad
Hey Daddy, I have heard this song on the radio recently almost every time I get in to go anywhere. So I looked it up on YouTube.
I think about your truck and if its still running or not. Mom, who was that friend of Uncle Gerry's that you sold it to?
Anyway found the video and added it here.  I miss you both.
~~~~~B&AMF~~~~~

Saturday, and its chilly, but no snow, Mary and I went to a new store near the mall. She got a flower on a long stick to put at the cemetery. We rode out there but then it started to rain really bad. We took the spring wreath down and she put up the flower.  Mary took this picture with her phone.

Stopped by to see Olive and give her the wreath.

Well Mom, guess I hit rock bottom. The van needs a new water pump and the cost is more than I can afford. Got my social security today and its almost all gone. All the budgeting and planning can't help when you are the only one contributing to the bills. Thought I could save some money by cancelling my cell phone but the early termination fee will take a bite out of next month's check. Glad its good weather because I am going to be doing a lot of walking for a while.  Thing is, I don't know how long it will take for me to save up enough money to get the car fixed. sigh

The gutter in the back of the house ripped off and is hanging down leaning against my bedroom window. I can't get up there and fix it, and I am not going to beg anyone to either. I haven't paid the taxes yet. Every time I have the money, something comes up and needs to get taken care of. I know its all my fault. God I miss you so much. You were my ROCK and without you I am just a pebble in the sea of shit.

PS. Funny story. While caching near Lake Canadota I came upon a penny with a message in a cache. I have kept the penny and loved the poem that went with it.
I had hoped to meet the cacher that made these, but unfortunately Grammy Annie and I will never meet. I would like to thank you on her behalf.

Going over the postings for your caches and found this one.  Olive and I are going to go on Monday to fix a few that need maintenance.

This was  posted in TKs Shady spot

I stopped here yesterday but there was a woman raking up grass that kept looking at me sitting in my car, wondering if I could pull it off without being seen. I came back today to make the find. I pulled into a spot in front of where I figured the cache would be. I let out a laugh when I saw the container, still removing my seat belt. I think grammyannie caches are my hands down favorite. No woman with a rake to witness my find, just a giant St. Bernard that was quite vocal about my being there, but I doubt he'll muggle the cache. Thank You!

EBGT - To Grammyannie's Liking

A cache by GoonieNanny
Hidden: 04/06/2013

A micro hidden in conjunction with "Celebrating 13 Years!" event 4/27/2013.

Located near the Erie Bayfront Connector Bike Path, this cache is part of a series known as the EGBT. This paved trail begins near I-90 and will take the traveler to Frontier Park, and beyond. While you are here you may want to visit nearby Penn State Behrend's picturesque campus.
Grammyannie enjoyed finding and hiding caches. She had a prefered container, and this is similar.

My first meeting of grammyannie was spotting her, on a cold Winter's day standing in a snow bank near a driveway.
My first thought was who had let this lady off in a snow bank. She had topped that snow pile and was searching for a geocache ... I should have known.

Grammyannie passed away after a car accident. She is gone, but memories of her still bring a smile to my face.

Dove78

MommyTP and I headed to this area today after the Birthday event. This was a great tribute cache ... when I took the log out and saw Grammyannie's poem ... well, it made me sad - but it is a great idea and I think she would have loved it. Thanks for the hide ... FTF # 8.

I will post here when people find it.
Love you Mom, and so do a whole lot of other people.

Well leave it to me to ruin something.  Lei Ann and I walked to Wal-Mart for Milk and toilet paper a couple days ago and the cart wheel fell off. I asked 5 different MEN in Wal-Mart if they sold anything that could fix it. Nope. so we took the bus home. Yesterday we took the bus to town and Lei Ann showed me how if you buy the transfer, you can come back home and save a dollar. Smart grand-daughter you got, mom. Well, a year and a half more and I can get a senior bus pass.  Sure hope my car is fixed before then.

Took some pictures of your trees. Wish I knew what kind they are.

Today is Flag Day, I am sure everyone has flags at the cemetery and on their houses. Virginia is coming with her granddaughters for a couple days.  Lisa's daughter Emily is graduating and they are having a party on Saturday.  Sunday is Father's Day. I have been busy today posting Father's Day memories on Life Ever After.

Going for my 6th month check-up at the VA. Oh I feel fine, its my mind that needs help. But people tell me I should trust in God and everything will be ok.  I try.

Your grandson is a piece of work. He has a job, a FULL TIME job. I don't know how much money he brings home each week (just like daddy) he never says.
But he hands me some money, I am happy for any money, but its not enough to pay a bill. He doesn't like the job and complains to his sister everyday. But he goes to work.
She on the other hand is NOT working.
Mom, Dad, my blood pressure may be a problem. I am not taking any pills, I will do what I have to do to keep it in check.  sigh, I am using your wrist BP checker, average 140/88 and that is higher than it ever was. Have to get it back down to 123 or so.

~~~~~B&AMF~~~~~
I spent 4th of July in the house. I did go to Wal-Mart to buy some food, but most of the day was inside.
I didn't go see any fireworks, It seems holidays are just another day lately.
Lei Ann did get a job and her first day of work was yesterday and now she is off until Monday.
You were in the driveway Mom, we had a situation that needed handled and I handled it just the way you would have.  I just hope that it is done with now. Keep an eye on Lei Ann Mom, she needs you and Daddy, Yes I think she is trying.
~~~~~B&AMF~~~~~

Just got back from taking Mary to Hershey Pa. Remember when you and Albe and Mary and I went in 2004? Well its the same only cost way much more.
Not having any money to spend, I just drove her down there for the concert and I hung out in the parking lot. I did walk around and took some pictures.

On the way home we stopped at the cemetery and then drove down Oliver rd.  Nice BIG house being built there.  Twill Home Builders sign in the nice big driveway.  I am glad.

Spent the day with Olive at her house, she was having a yard sale. Afterwards we stopped at the cemetery. It seems like ages since I visited, sorry Mom, but on a good note, the flowers are growing and that is a miracle in its own.  Love you both.

Mom, I need help, I don't  know how to deal with life as it is now. I just exist on a daily basis. I don't know where I am headed and the bad thing is I don't know where your grandchildren are headed either. Yes Albe has worked 90 days straight and now has the chance to get the job permanently. Lei Ann is still struggling and Mary, well, Mary is stuck. She isn't doing anything. If at all possible Mom, Dad, please help. Give them a sign. They need some guidance as well. Miss you SOOO much.

This past week has been horrible, I am SO GLAD August is over. I am praying that September is better. The van has died. The timing belt broke and had to have it towed to the garage. I spent more than half of my social security check on getting it fixed and it is still not fixed.  There are more things wrong with it and I just don't have the money to fix it.
There is more than 100 thousand miles on it. I think Chrysler Voyagers dies at 100 thousand miles. I have come to the conclusion that I don't need a car. I can get a bus pass and it will take me wherever I need to go, or I don't need to go. I am sure Aunt Olive will take me to the cemetery and my friend Rich said if I had an appointment somewhere he would take me.  I worry that Albe and Lei Ann and Mary won't be able to get where they need to go, but then that is their problem huh?
 I am looking at all the savings -  gas, insurance, inspections, repairs VS $35 a month bus pass.  Yep, I have made up my mind. Bye Voyager hello E

September 15, 2013
I waited until today to write. Dad, thank you for being at the hospital with me. I know you know how I felt with the pain of the Gallstones. I never experienced anything like that.
On the 4th of Sept I went to the VA in Erie and they sent me to Buffalo VA. It was a long bumpy ride and my kids didn't even know I was gone. I called Rich and he went and told the kids where I was and what was going on.  Lei Ann found where I was in Buffalo VA and called and I told her what was happening.  Mary called me every day after that. She is so good to me Mom. She is taking real good care of me now, making sure I eat right.
In the nine days I was there, they filled me with antibiotics and fluids and took lots of cat scans and blood.  Well my Gallbladder was infected and there were stones in the duct to the pancreas. They sent me to ECMC hospital to remove it and put a stent in which has to be removed in three weeks. Then I woke up and Shirley and Olive were standing at the foot of the bed. I love them so much. They have been here for me since you left, mom. I came back to the Buffalo VA and they decided to take out the gallbladder and 5 additional stones. (I have a bag on the side that fills up with bile. I have to go back in two weeks to have it removed. ugh.)

I waited to die. I told them if anything happened on the table to just "let me go". You were waiting for me, Mom, we picked out wallpaper, it was blue.
I realized that I had a family that needs me and so my time with you and Dad would have to wait. I was ready though. If it had been right, I would be with you now, instead I am writing on your page. I wonder who will maintain these when I am gone or will they just die with me.  The kids have no interest to even learn how to do updates.
As the business, it is gone we must move on.
You can see what is happening around me. Mom, please be with Lei Ann, she needs you.

So sorry Mom, I haven't been able to fix your cache outside, its run over by weeds. No one has been here in a while either, but they are stopping at your other caches.
I went out yesterday and I think I over-did it. This morning I am sore and really weak. Can't wait for Thursday when I go back to Buffalo and find out what they are going to do with this bag. Oh I hate this bag.
I use your big potty seat dad, Lazarus got up on it the other day and couldn't get down, it was funny.  I thought I would have to use your walker, but not yet. Thanks mom for having me keep those things instead of getting rid of them. I couldn't afford to buy them if I needed them.
Missing you.

It's Saturday and I am just sitting here watching TV. Got a surprise from my son, he knows my mom loved Chinese food and asked me if I wanted some.
Normally we would go to the place and sit down and get the all you can eat, but me not feeling well, he went and got a take-out container.  It was good
If mom was here, we would have taken her for her birthday, so this was a nice gesture and he made me very happy.
Monday Aunt Olive is coming to get me and we are going to the cemetery.

This photo is from your last birthday with us.  Notice the camera, I still have it. I use it to take pictures, and it works good.
I miss you MOM.

on another note. Lei Ann and Albe have been driving the van. The timing is still off and it stalls if you sit too long, and backing up it will stall on you, but it gets them where they need to go. I can't drive yet. I am not well enough, so they take me if I need to go somewhere. Daddy, wish I knew someone that could look at the van and fix it, I just don't have the money to do that. (sigh)

Had a wonderful day with Aunt Olive, Aunt Shirley, Uncle Larry celebrating my mom's birthday. Olive and I went to the cemetery and put a nice bouquet of autumn cut flowers.   The mums were still in bloom. They were bright yellow and you could see them from the road. We stopped at the store and I got a Chocolate Fudge cake and we went to Lisa's house. Shirley and Larry were there. We had a nice afternoon of visiting and had cake in your honor.
I love you mom.

Sue came to visit for a few hours, we went to the cemetery, she gave daddy his token and I took these pictures.

Then we rode down Oliver and wow, there is a BIG house where we used to grown corn and potatoes.
I couldn't get a good picture because it sets  back and there's not a good view, I didn't go up the driveway there were cars parked there and people there,
I told Sue to keep going.  Nice house though.

Rain and cold. Sitting here watching TV. The kids are over at their other grandmother's house. Yes daddy, I turned the heat on but its on low. Still didn't get the gutters cleaned out, but Albe did rake the leaves away from the house. We could use the grass cut one more time before the snow comes, but your lawnmower has a dead battery again. Something electrical must not be working right. sigh, everything getting old.  I miss you both so much.

You know what I have been going through. Just thought about you both so much last night that I got up this morning to post this here.  Albe is over at your house. He comes over here to eat and take a shower and change his clothes, but he is sleeping at your house. He said you have more people there that don't pay rent. Mr. mouse. I laughed, I thought about the mouse that mom had that went from the kitchen near the sink to the toilet and down that hole. well either its still alive or there's a family now. Albe said Mr. mouse is running that place now. ha ha
The front porch door that Jason put on backwards was caught by the wind and now only hanging on by the hinges at the bottom. Albe tried to latch it from the inside but that too is broke.
Lei Ann is in Pittsburgh, trying to figure out where she is going to live and work. The kids are here with me until she is settled. I had a good birthday, not looking forward to Christmas. I miss you both so much.
Haven't been out to the cemetery, no car. The van is dead daddy. And I can't afford the insurance.
Oh mom how did you last so long without daddy? Its only been three years since you left and it feels like thirty.
Last night we watched the vcr tape of my 45th birthday. You didn't want me taking your picture even then. Mary wanted to show Jalita and Lazarus how GOOD they were as kids.
It was nice seeing them as little kids, it was nice watching happier times.
I miss you both.

Dear Dad and Mom,

This morning I woke early, thinking of you and what you made MY Christmas like and what you did for MY kids. Well I did all I could for My grandchildren. I think they had a good Christmas.  Pictures  Lei Ann talked to them this morning through Mary's phone and her I Pad. She has to work tomorrow, they ask when is she coming to get them. She says soon or I will just come back home. So we will see.

Love you both

Dec 27th
It has been a couple of crazy days. Mary, Albe and I have been playing Disney Monopoly and I have been getting whipped like fast. Terry played twice with us and beat us all into bankruptcy. Took the bus to Wal Mart today and got some milk and eggs and bread and Albe came with me to help carry it home. We got home and he made dinner. Its been cold and some snow, just the kind of weather that keeps you indoors.
I love you both.
