Thinking about all the times my dad wanted me to go fishing with him on Lake Erie. I would go but I never really liked it as a teenager.
Yes back then I thought we would have all the time in the world. However my dad has been gone since April 8 2013.
What I wouldn't give for just one more time to fish with my dad. Guess it's true you never know what you had till it's gone.
Love you dad.

Tomorrow is Father's Day. This is the first one I can't call my dad. I can say I love you but I will never hear him say it back.
I knew he loved me but I beg for just one more second. His job was done on April 8 2013. He went home to be be Jesus.
I thought when I was a kid I knew everything. I gave him a run for his money. However he always kept me fed and clothed.
He always did his job. However I don't remember if I ever said thank you. All I can say is I'm sorry for all I did wrong and thank you for everything.
He always wanted to take his grandchildren out for ice cream but I lived so far away.
Well now he gets to have ice cream with my twins in heaven.
Happy Father's Day daddy. I love you always have and always will!!
