James "Danny" Reed
January 22, 1939 ~ December 30, 2014


James D. Reed, 75, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on January 22, 1939 in McKean, PA, a son the late Oren and Martha (Davis) Reed.
He was employed at the Erie General Electric as a boiler tender. He was a member of the Perry-Keystone Lodge # 392, F. & A.M.; Scottish Rite, Valley of Erie; ZemZem Shrine, Erepa Grotto and was a Director of the Erie County Shrine Club.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Otis and David Reed.
He is survived by a brother, Marshall Reed of McKean, PA and a sister, Marjorie Wonner (John) of McKean, PA.
Funeral arrangements were handles by Merle E. Wood Funeral Home, Inc.,

Perry-Keystone Lodge conducted a Masonic Service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Friends gathered at the funeral home  with Rev. Barbara English, Pastor of McKean United Methodist Church officiating.
He was laid to rest in McLane Cemetery.
